Since the following seems to be quite a trend this year, I'd like to thank all the people who have lately informed me that cider -- formerly among my favorite aspects of fall -- always "goes right through them."
Um. . . thanks.
Thanks a whole LOT.
Nothing Too Earth-Shattering

Cider was ruined when the government required pasteurization.
I worked at a Cider Mill.
I know what goes in to cider.
I don't care.
I still drink it, and I love it.
I don't care about anyone else's lack of bowel control.
Another example of something that's been ruined for me: Hearing someone say that coconut-flavored coffee "tastes like soap." I once loved it more than anything, but haven't enjoyed it the same way ever since. See, this is how easy it is to alter my perceptions on something.
